19/07/2024

Playa de Aquadulce, with its stunning scenery and inviting atmosphere, is a worthwhile visit when you're in Gran Canaria. Offering the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, you'll leave with a camera full of beautiful memories and stories to tell.

Opening Scene: First Glimpse of Playa de Aquadulce

The first thing you'll notice as you approach Playa de Aquadulce is the stunning stretch of sand, about 300 meters long, caressed gently by the azure waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The edges of the beach are embraced by rugged cliffs, offering an enchanting backdrop that makes you feel like you've stepped into a postcard. Trust me, it's a sight you'll never forget.

Getting There: The Smooth Journey

Reaching Playa de Aquadulce is easier than you'd think. If you're driving, head southeast along GC-1 from Las Palmas. After about a 45-minute drive, take the exit towards Arguineguín and follow the signs. Parking can be found just a short walk away from the beach.

Don't have a car? No problem! Catch bus number 91 from the Las Palmas Bus Station, which runs straight to Arguineguín. From there, a quick 10-minute taxi ride or a leisurely walk will bring you to the sandy haven.

The Trash Issue: A Plea to Visitors

While enjoying the serene atmosphere, you might notice that the beach isn't always pristine. Washed-up trash is an unfortunate reality. But here's the thing: The beach itself isn't to blame—thoughtless individuals who don't dispose of their waste properly are.

Some visitors, have expressed a simple yet impactful idea: "If every tourist collected a little trash and threw it in the bins up the slope, it would be a paradise." It just takes a little effort from each visitor to keep this spot clean.
